Ive read tons of articles on the internet with contradicting results. Now I want to hear it from real people who aren't biased about anything. With a healthy diet, and a gym trip 4 times a week, is it possible to lose overall body fat %? If not, any other tips?

It's definitely possible to lose body fat with a healthy diet and 4 gym trips per week. But there are other factors that will determine if you actually lose the fat.1) How healthy was your previous diet, and what changes have been made?2) What is it that you are doing at the gym? Certain activities won't burn fat and other will burn fat moderately, and some greatly.I've found that the best type of exercise to lose fat is intense exercise. Instead of running on a treadmill, try sprinting in interval fashion (short sprint with a recovery period). Or, jump rope in intervals. Or, instead of lifting weights, try kettlebell type movements with kettlebells or dumbbells. Start easy on these exercises, because they are difficult and could cause injuries if you are not used to them and overdo it.In terms of diet, eat more protein, and less carbohydrates. Don't do this to the level of Atkins diet, but make a conscious effort to do it in a moderate amount. Also, drink a glass of water before meals if overeating is a problem for you, and fill up on solid-feeling vegetables like broccoli or uncooked carrots.
