Just started P90x, question about the diet and results?

I'm currently 20 years old, 153, 5'7 and female. My goal weight is 135, 130. I only have 2 months to work with before returning to school where I won't have time to work out an hour+ a day. I'm not interested in becoming 'ripped' or drastically increasing strength, I just want to lose weight and tone my body, so I'm doing the lean workout. I started Tae Bo about a month ago, but my weight plateaued because it quickly became easy so I needed to increase the workout.



I know the first phase of the diet focuses on protein intake, but again, I'm not looking to build muscle. I'm already on a diet of some sorts, basically smaller portions, counting calories (approx 1500 a day), drinking lots of water, and no sweets, fats etc. Would this be acceptable to meet my goal? Or even close, I can workout at school but not as frequent or consistent as now.

You should really stick with the nutrition plan. The first Fat Burning Phase is geared more to burn fat, but limiting the carbohydrate intake. This will not build much muscle, but you have to remember that muscle does weight more and burns fat.
