How do I know if I am really losing weight?

Okay, so I have been on a diet for one week now. On thursday the 30th, I was 151. Every morning I weigh myself and it seems as if I lose about a pound every two days. Tuesday morn it said I was 146.6 but then every afternoon when I weigh myself it says either 150 or 151 and it is so discouraging and I start feeling like my diet isn't working. What should I go by? Am I really losing weight?

Acai Berry did absolutely nothing for me.

Ok well this is kind of silly. Of course your gonna weight more in the afternoon. You've been eating all day. The best time to way yourself is in the morning and naked haha. That is the true weight you are.

I know exactly how you're feeling.
The number you need to go by is the one in the morning.
When you wake up, you wanna go pee, then strip down and weigh yourself.
That is your true weight.
You really shouldn't weigh yourself everyday though, because like you said, it makes you discouraged and it could cause you to stop trying.
I want you to pick one day to weigh yourself a week.
Don't check your weigh anytime but that day, and on that day only check it in the morning.
Then once you do it for a couple of weeks, you'll see your results.

you are expecting results too quickly. It has only been 1 week PLUS you aren't exercising (or you haven't mentioned it). To lose weight and keep it off you need to exercise and eat correctly. Also, what does your diet consist of? If you aren't eating the right portions and healthy foods you may loose a few pounds here and there but its not going to work that great with just a diet.
